I’m proud to have graduated with honors from law school, but I have since found that many attorneys hold onto the habit of “keeping score”, or worse, paying for prestige and promotions that detract from what really matters.
If you ask me, the only measure of success is the people whose lives I have improved, the situations I have helped clarify or resolve favorably, and the conflicts and family feuds avoided. At the end of the day, it’s not about who I am, it’s about you and your family.

I got into law to make a positive difference in people’s lives and I fundamentally believe the law has the power to do that – but only when we make sure everyone has access to it.
Family law, in particular, appeals to me because I see families at the heart of our society; by helping parents build stronger and healthier environments for their children, I get to feel every day that I am making the world a better place.
